The Beach's Most Precious Resource Has Even More Support

Englewood, CO - December 7, 2011. Regional tanning salon At The Beach is excited to announce it has raised more than $26,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. During the National Breast Cancer Awareness month of October, At The Beach created a fundraiser, urging its clientele to purchase limited edition breast cancer awareness t-shirts, with the promise of donating almost 75 percent of the proceeds to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation.

This year, At The Beach got involved in the action by encouraging members to spread the word about this worthy cause and to give by purchasing a pink limited edition At The Beach breast cancer awareness t-shirt that features one of At The Beach's characters, Donatella, with the phrase "Saving the beach's most precious resource."

For every hip and quirky shirt purchased, At The Beach donated $18 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, an organization committed to spreading knowledge and fostering hope in the fight against breast cancer.

"The tally is in on our Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser, and we're happy to say our promotion was so successful that we wound up having to do a second print to get more shirts. One of the most exciting things about this fundraiser is that the tanners and supporters of At The Beach are 100 percent responsible for its success. I love it when our customers get involved," said Candi Chappell, Chief Operations Officer.

At The Beach is a regional tanning salon chain with over 60 stores located throughout Oklahoma, Colorado and Kansas. At The Beach is involved in multiple charities and causes, and fosters support through their blog, atthebeachcares.com, and by providing information to customers at At The Beach locations.
